1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to keep you signed in between pages. This policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which store data in your browser in a comparable way.

Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another domain are called third-party cookies.

2. Our approach

We use strictly necessary cookies only.

Education Labs AI does not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, social media trackers or third-party analytics. We do not build advertising profiles, do not track you across other websites, and do not sell or share any data collected through cookies.

Because every cookie we set is strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for, we do not need — and therefore do not show — a cookie consent banner. That position is permitted by Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive and by the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

3. Cookies and storage we use

Third-party providers set their cookies under their own privacy policies. Cookies may also be set by an external provider — for example your video conferencing provider — when you follow a link to a live class or tutoring session, on that provider’s own domain.

4. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings — usually under “Privacy”, “Cookies” or “Site data”. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, delete cookies when you close the browser, or clear existing cookies.

Blocking our cookies will break sign-in.

Because the cookies we set are strictly necessary, blocking them means you will not be able to sign in, stay signed in, or complete a purchase. You can still browse public pages such as the course catalogue and blog.

You can also use your browser’s private or incognito mode, which clears cookies when the window closes.
Clearing cookies signs you out and resets any interface preferences.
