1. Who this applies to
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses Education Labs AI — students, parents and guardians, instructors and tutors, and visitors. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and breaking it can result in content removal, suspension or permanent termination of your account.
2. General conduct
Use Education Labs AI lawfully, honestly and with respect for other people. You must not:
- break any applicable law, regulation or court order, or encourage anyone else to;
- harass, bully, threaten, stalk, intimidate or discriminate against anyone, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age;
- impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your identity, age, qualifications or affiliation;
- collect or harvest personal information about other users, or contact them off-platform without their consent;
- misuse a tutoring session or message channel to solicit users for other services, or to arrange payment outside the platform.
3. Content standards
Anything you post — reviews, questions, profile text, images, course material — must not contain or promote:
- material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful or gratuitously violent;
- sexual content, or any material that sexualises a minor — see Section 5;
- content that infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- false or misleading claims, including fake reviews, fabricated credentials or misleading claims about exam outcomes;
- malware, or links to malicious or deceptive sites;
- personal data about another person that you have no right to share;
- spam, chain messages, pyramid schemes or unsolicited advertising.
4. Academic integrity
Education Labs AI exists to help people learn. Using it to cheat undermines that, and can put your qualifications at risk.
- Do not seek or supply answers to a live, ongoing or unreleased examination or assessment.
- Do not use the Services in any way that breaches the rules of an awarding body, examination board, school, college or university.
- Do not ask a tutor to complete coursework, an assignment or an assessment that you are required to complete yourself, and instructors must refuse such requests.
- Do not post material subject to an examination board’s embargo or copyright without permission.
- Do not sell, share or upload our course content, quiz banks or answer keys to file-sharing or homework-answer sites.
We may revoke certificates, remove content and terminate accounts for breaches of academic integrity, and may notify an affected institution or awarding body where we are required or reasonably entitled to do so.
5. Child safety
Zero tolerance.
Education Labs AI is used by learners under 18. Any content or conduct that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers a minor results in immediate permanent termination and, where applicable, a report to law enforcement and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or the equivalent authority. Adults must not seek private contact with a minor outside the platform’s supervised channels. See our Children’s Privacy & Safeguarding Policy, and report any concern immediately to support@educationlabsai.com.
6. Technical restrictions
You must not:
- access, or try to access, any account, system or data you are not authorised to access;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the platform, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure, except under a security disclosure we have authorised in writing;
- scrape, crawl, spider or use automated means to extract data or content, except for search engines obeying our robots directives;
- circumvent rate limits, bot protection, paywalls, access controls or digital rights management;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the platform, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded;
- introduce malware, or launch a denial-of-service attack or any action that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- frame, mirror or resell any part of the Services without our written permission.
7. Course content and AI training
Course videos, materials, quiz questions and answer keys are licensed to you for personal study only. You must not download, record, screen-capture or redistribute them, and you must not use them to train, fine-tune, evaluate or benchmark any machine learning or artificial intelligence system. This restriction applies to automated collection by any means.
8. Additional rules for instructors and tutors
- Teach only subjects you are genuinely competent to teach, and describe your qualifications and experience accurately.
- Only upload content you own or are licensed to use, including images, diagrams, past-paper extracts and third-party material.
- Keep interactions with learners professional, and conduct them through the platform’s channels.
- Follow the safeguarding rules when teaching anyone under 18, including never arranging unsupervised private contact.
- Do not solicit payment outside the platform, or direct learners to competing services.
- Do not manipulate ratings, post or solicit fake reviews, or offer incentives in exchange for positive reviews.
9. Reporting a violation
Report anything that breaches this policy to support@educationlabsai.com, including a link to the content or the account concerned and a short description of the problem. For anything involving the safety of a child, email support@educationlabsai.com and mark it urgent. For copyright complaints, follow the procedure in our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, report it to support@educationlabsai.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before disclosing it publicly. We will not pursue action against good-faith security research that respects user privacy and does not degrade the service.
10. How we enforce this policy
We investigate reports and may act on our own initiative. Depending on severity and history, we may:
- issue a warning;
- remove or restrict content;
- limit features, restrict payouts, or withhold a certificate;
- suspend an account pending investigation;
- terminate an account permanently, without refund;
- report the matter to law enforcement or another authority.
We aim to act proportionately, and where practicable we tell you what happened and why. You may appeal any decision by replying to the notice we send, or by emailing support@educationlabsai.com; a different member of our team will review it. Serious cases — particularly those involving child safety, fraud or platform security — may result in immediate termination without prior warning.
